Cybersecurity is a critical component of modern life. It isn't just your organization, it's almost everything you interact with. Here are some examples:

• Utility Systems are under tremendous pressure to protect their computing environment. The power grid is a high-value target for hackers and nation-states.
• Banking Systems are under constant assault at all levels.
• Intellectual Property isn't quite as known, my employer is a research university and protecting intellectual property is a primary responsibility of mine.
• Medical Devices, imagine your loved one's pacemaker suddenly failing due to being compromised by a hacker.
• Personal Data Most commonly thought of when it comes to information is person data, we think of credit being misused or new credit being opened in our name. Every spring hackers file false tax returns with stolen SSNs.
